Abstract

The ILO's new work in fishing convention aims to provide decent work for fishers and contribute to a sustainable fishing industry. Together with the Maritime Labour Convention of 2006, it stands as a prominent example of the ILO's continued effort for consolidated, flexible and easily ratifiable labour standards.
