Abstract

In this report we explore some examples of fisheries that are regulated in such a way that they cause no significant harm to the ecosystem. In fact, our leading question is whether such fisheries exist Policy options how fisheries can be managed to decrease the negative impact on the ecosystem and the role and state of eco-labelling of fisheries such as the Marine Stewardship Council are described.
