Abstract
This paper presents the main features of these guidelines and the requirements for preparing an EIA for a port, harbour or a marina. The purpose of the guidelines is to outline issues, which may be relevant for the environmental impact assessment of ports, harbours, marinas and related facilities, basically during the design phase and the construction of the project.
