Abstract

The Eighteenth Session of the Western Central Atlantic Fishery Commission was held in Managua, Nicaragua from 26 to 29 July 2022. The Commission adopted five regional fisheries management recommendations. The Commission also endorsed three regional plans and one regional strategy. The Commission also endorsed the Data Collection and Reference Framework, its new Rules of Procedure, its 2022–2027 strategic plan, the Terms of Reference of the Scientific Advisory Group and the Programme of Work (2022–2024).
