The purpose of this consultancy was to develop a research design framework for SPC that provides the foundation to undertake a potential study on GBV and its relevance for the Pacific’s fisheries sector. Specifically, the research design framework needed to: (a) define the research problem; (b) define the purpose and objectives; (c) determine the scope; and (d) develop a methodology with a clear description of procedures, techniques, methods and approaches, including field researcher training needs, testing and sampling.
