The Committee on World Food Security (CFS) held its Fifty-third Session from 20 to 24 October 2025. The session was convened in hybrid modality as agreed by Members. The session was attended by delegates from 126 Members of the Committee, 10 non-Member States of the Committee, and by representatives from: 12 United Nations Agencies and Bodies; 102 Civil society organizations;1 9 International agricultural research organizations; 4 International and regional financial institutions; 51 Private sector associations2 and private philanthropic foundations;3 and 45 Observers.
