Abstract
The USA has submitted this paper on new fisheries disciplines in the form of a legal text in three areas-1) appropriate conditions to attach to vessel capacity reduction(buyback) programmes; 2) provisions for the Committee's periodic review of the effectiveness of new disciplines on fisheries subsidies and 3) provisions for appropriate involvement of fisheries.
