Abstract

Contains brief description of purse seining and other methods used to catch yellowfin tuna and considerations on tuna-dolphin association and mortality of dolphins in the eastern Pacific. Also contains a brief discussion on alternatives left to the fishers if changes are to be made to current fishing methods.
