This paper concentrates on the interests of developing countries in the WTO fisheries subsidies negotiations, and particularly on possibilities to incorporate these interests through special and differential treatment (SDT) in the negotiations, taking into account that countries have different conditions and needs due to their varying levels of economic development and existence of natural resources.
