Abstract

In this submission Japan has put forward the following propoals based on the understanding thata) a comprehensive approach needs to be taken of RTAs evaluating not only the quantitative aspect but also the qualitative aspect, b)trade-based coverage benchmark has both advantages and disadvantages, that the disadvantages need to be supplemented by some other measures and c) duty elimination needs to cover atleast 90.
