Abstract

SEAFDEC has been assisting the Southeast Asian countries in their efforts to combat IUU fishing through the project on the Promotion of Sustainable Fisheries and IUU Fishing-related Countermeasures in Southeast Asia which is funded by the Japanese Trust Fund (JTF). One of the main activities of the project focuses on the Promotion of Fishing License, Boats Registration, and Port State Measures in Southeast Asia, which is being carried out through a series of regional meetings.
