Abstract

Based on recent reports of mortality of shortneck clam Paphia malabarica, in-situ observation was conducted in Sal River on 1.5.2014 from four sites along river along Sal. The local fishermen stated that the mortality commenced from March 2014. The site where clam mortality was reported was adjacent to Cavelossim and Mobor.
