This case in the Supreme Court of India, clearly indicates that pisciculture practised by the appellant is not be considered to be agriculture and such person would not be called a farmer.Hence the court decided that supply of electricity on low tension for the purpose of agriculture would not apply in this case as fish frming does not come within the purview of agriculture.
