Abstract

In 2012 the Committee on World Food Security adopted the Voluntary Guidelines on the Governance of Tenure. As a followup, the Voluntary Guidelines for Securing Sustainable Small-scale Fisheries were adopted by the member states of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). Implementation of these Guidelines are at the core of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 14.2.
