Abstract

Launched in March 2013, the Catchbox Co-operative is the United Kingdom’s first ‘Community Supported Fishery’ (CSF) project. Community Supported Fisheries were initiated in the United States around six years ago based on the popular Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) programmes developed in the 1980s.
