Abstract

The Tunisian Association for the Development of Artisanal Fisheries (ATDEPA) is a civil society organization that brings together fisheries officials, scientific researchers and artisanal fishers. It was created in 2011 as a non-profit development association under Tunisian law. It is, therefore, not so much an organization of fishers, but, rather, an organization for fishers.
