Abstract

Artisanal fisheries have been playing an increasing role in the food and livelihood security of a large majority of the world's population. This booklet looks into the development of the small-scale fishery and focuses on various measures to ensure a just, participatory, self-reliant and sustainable development for the small-scale fishery.
