The United Nations Non-Governmental Liaison Service (NGLS) is a jointly financed, interagency unit supported by 16 UN system agencies, programmes, funds and departments and a number of bilateral donors. NGLS programme activities deal with the full UN sustainable development agenda and operate across the entire UN system of agencies, programmes, funds and departments concerned with economic, social and humanitarian issues. Some NGLS's programmes are: environment and development, the global economy, sustainable human development.
