Abstract

Sakhi is a facilitating organisation for fishworkers and self-employed women in Kerala, India. The major activities in 2006-2007 were: 1) Gender and governance programme, review of 10 years of women's component plan, 2) initiation of resource centre for women 3) case study of women undertaken in 60 gram panchayats, and 4) capacity building programmes, workshops and seminars were conducted.
