Abstract

In reply to New Zealand's questions and comments, Korea is ready to join international effort to enhance support between trade and environment and socio economic development by improving WTO disciplines on fisheries subsidies and different types of fishing like small scale fisheries, large scale commercial fisheries, traditional coastal fisheries and distant water fisheries still co-exist and these should reflect in future negotiations with particular consideration given to the developing Members.
