Abstract

Packed with meaningful discussions and exciting events, the 8th Global Conference on Gender in Aquaculture & Fisheries (GAF8) was a clarion call for gender justice for sustainable aquaculture and fisheries. In November, 2022, the city of Kochi in the southern Indian state of Kerala, marked a milestone in the history of gender and fisheries when it played host to the 8th Global Conference on Gender in Aquaculture & Fisheries- Shaping the Future: Gender Justice for Sustainable Aquaculture and Fisheries (GAF8).
