Abstract
The Russian Federation became the 156th WTO Member in August 2012. This is its first Trade Policy Review. Following the dissolution of the Soviet Union at the end of 1991, the Russian Federation embarked on a reform program aimed at transforming a centrally-planned economy to a market-oriented one.
