This study attempts to analyse the possible impacts of the Doha Development Agenda Round on Ghana's fisheries sector. To comply with the agreements on SPS and TBT, Ghana has developed domestic food safety and quality standards which are mandatory. Ghana also provides subsidies to artisanal fisher men and women. Reduction of tariff may have devastating impact on Ghana's fisheries.Tariff measures, non-tariff measures, subsidies, aquaculture, capacity building and institutional support could mitigate the impact of tariff reduction.
